Why isn’t my overtime counting?

Overtime is counted per workweek for hourly jobs. Open Settings > Jobs, choose the job and add your regular hourly rate and the day your workweek starts. Only hours over 40 in a workweek count, and only the extra half of your rate. Self-employed work has no overtime deduction.

Why are some tips “not counted yet”?

Tips count only for jobs on the IRS list of tipped occupations. Open the job and pick its occupation. Self-employed tips are limited to the business’s net profit.

My car says “Doesn’t qualify”.

The car loan interest deduction needs final assembly in the United States. The app reads this from NHTSA’s VIN decoder. If NHTSA doesn’t list a plant, check “Final assembly point” on the window sticker and turn on the switch in the car screen. All five checklist items must also be true.

How do I get the Schedule 1-A report?

Open the Report tab. With Pro you can export a PDF and a CSV of your year, including every shift.

I got a new phone. How do I get Pro back?

How do I cancel my subscription?

Settings > Manage subscription in the app. On an iPhone you can also go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play > profile picture > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

How do I move my data to a new phone?

Your data comes along with a normal device backup and restore. You can also use Settings > Export backup and Import backup.
